Description

These are two old artillery shell cases from the Great War, now turned into quirky trench art vases. Each is about 9 inches tall with a base of around 3.5 inches. One has a flower in a panel and is dated 1914, the other 1918. The bases are roughly etched — one looks like Oostende, the other possibly Mal Henri. A bit of verdigris spotting on one side. They’re not super flashy, just interesting pieces with a story. I found them tucked away in a box at home in Tavistock, West Devon. Only really collectible, so cash on collection — no hassle, just hand over when you come to pick them up. £18.
