Pair Great War artillery shell cases trench art vases

Description
These are two old artillery shell cases from the Great War, now turned into quirky trench art vases. Each is about 9 inches tall with a base of around 3.5 inches. One has a flower in a panel and is dated 1914, the other 1918. The bases are roughly etched — one looks like Oostende, the other possibly Mal Henri. A bit of verdigris spotting on one side. They’re not super flashy, just interesting pieces with a story. I found them tucked away in a box at home in Tavistock, West Devon. Only really collectible, so cash on collection — no hassle, just hand over when you come to pick them up. £18.Seller Information
