Dark wood lion carved telephone table

This one’s a real gem – a dark wood telephone table from the 70s or 80s with a proper lion carving. I found it tucked away in a cupboard at home and only just realised how much I liked it. The wood is solid, the lion’s face is still there, and all the original wrought iron handles are intact. It matches a dresser, cabinet, and bureau I’ve got, but those are selling separately. It’s 73cm high, 91cm wide, and 36cm deep – fits perfectly in a hallway or any space where you want something a bit characterful. It’s not fancy, but it’s genuinely special. I’ve kept it in good shape and it’s been mostly out of the way, so it’s still in really nice condition. Got it from a local estate in bagshot, Surrey Heath – just moved my stuff around a bit.
