I’ve had this 2016 BMW 2 Series Convertible for a few years now, and it’s been a real joy to drive. It’s a bit of a hybrid between a sports car and a luxury sedan — sharp, responsive, and not too flashy but definitely stands out on the road. The diesel engine gives it good range and smooth power, especially on the motorways. I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s been mostly used for daily drives and weekend trips around the countryside.

It’s got the M Sport package, which means a bit more grip and a sportier feel — not too aggressive, just enough to make you feel like you’re in control. The soft top is in great shape, and the interior is still crisp with all the latest tech, including the iDrive system. I even kept the safety belt pretensioners — they’re still working fine.

I’m moving to Leek, Staffordshire Moorlands, and this car has been sitting in the garage a bit too long. I’ve been thinking of selling it to someone who actually enjoys driving, not just parking it. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, quiet, and feels like it knows what it’s doing.

It’s worth noting it’s been in a few different homes over the years, so it’s not exactly a “new” car — but it’s still in great condition and has a solid history. If you’re into compact, well-built cars that don’t scream for attention but still deliver a bit of excitement, this might be your kind of ride.

Price is £8,549.10 — it’s not a lot for a car that’s been driven fairly and looked after. Just a personal thing I’m letting go of now.
