I’ve had this Mazda CX-5 since 2019 and it’s been a solid daily driver – reliable, practical, and just about the best balance of style and features for what I needed. It’s the GT Sport Nav+ trim, so it’s not just a regular SUV – there’s a bit more flair with the sporty design and navigation system.

The 2.0L petrol engine is smooth, and it meets Euro 6 standards, which I like because it doesn’t stress the environment too much. The power tilt and slide sunroof is a real plus – you can just open it up and let the sunshine in, especially when it’s nice outside.

Inside, the audio setup is decent – AM/FM/DAB, single CD player, and MP3 support – and the 10-speaker Bose system gives a nice sound for music. The adaptive LED headlights help at night, and the blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert makes driving safer, especially when parking or merging.

I’ve kept the seats clean and well-maintained – the outer rear seats even have a 3-stage heat setting, which is a nice touch for long drives or chilly days.

It’s low insurance group, which means lower premiums, and the boot space is generous – plenty for groceries, camping gear, or weekend trips.
