2017 Mercedes-Benz CLS 220D AMG Line Coupe
Description
So I’ve been keeping this car for a bit now — it’s a 2017 CLS 220D AMG Line, and I’m finally getting rid of it. It’s not the flashiest car, but it’s solid, has a nice blend of style and practicality, and I’ve used it quite a bit over the years. It’s been with only two previous owners, which is a relief — I’ve always liked knowing how a car has been treated. The diesel engine is a bit more efficient than you’d expect for a luxury coupe, and it runs smoothly. It’s got a full Euro 6 spec, so no fuss with emissions.
Inside, it’s quite comfortable — heated front seats, a nice climate control system that’s two-zone, and there’s a Bluetooth setup so I can make calls without taking my hands off the wheel. The dashboard is clean and modern, with a decent digital display and a few smart bits like parking sensors, hill start assist, and adaptive brake lights.
I’ve had it through a full AA inspection — they ran it through a 128-point check, including a road test — so I know it’s been properly looked at. There’s also a basic service history, which helps give a sense of how it’s been maintained.
The exterior has that AMG Line look — the alloy wheels are 19-inch, multi-spoke design, painted in titanium grey, and the body styling gives it a bit of a sporty edge without being too aggressive. The interior trim is nice too — black ash wood with gloss finish, and the seats are in soft leather with a bit of a sporty feel.
I’ve kept it mostly low-mileage for a couple of years, and I’ve done a fair bit of driving in all sorts of weather. I’ve even had a few long trips, and it handles well.
I’m not selling it because I need the cash — I just don’t need it around anymore. It’s in Haddenham, East Cambridgeshire, so if you’re local or nearby, I’m happy to meet up or arrange a viewing.
The price is £10,345.50 — not a lot to say about that, honestly, because it’s just a number. I’ve kept it simple and transparent, and I’d be happy to chat if you’re interested.
If you’re thinking about buying a used car, I’d definitely recommend going with one that’s AA-inspected. It gives you peace of mind, and honestly, it’s one of the few things that makes a used car feel like a real investment.
I’ll be around to answer questions — I’m open most days, even on Sundays. No pressure, just a straightforward sale.
And yeah, I’ll be honest — it’s not perfect. Cars do age. But it’s been well looked after, and I’d say it’s still a good, reliable car for everyday use.
