I’ve had this marcy weight bench for years and it’s been a staple in my home gym. The back pad’s adjustable so you can set it to flat, incline, or decline — useful for different chest workouts. The steel frame is solid, can take up to 135kg (300lbs), and I’ve used it with people up to 21 stone without any issues. The preacher bar and leg developer pads are still in good shape — both fit 45kg plates. The upholstery is 2.5 inches thick, so it’s got good support, especially when doing heavier sets. The barbell catchers are a nice touch — makes it easy to safely put the bar back in. The rack is wide enough for mid-width chest presses, which is handy for variety. It’s been well-maintained and is in excellent condition overall. I’m moving to ryton, Gateshead, and it’s just going to sit in storage for now — might be useful to someone else looking for a solid home gym setup. Price is £108 if you're interested.
