Honda VFR750FJ 1988 748cc

Got this Honda VFR750FJ in April 1988, and I’ve had it since May 2001 — so over 24 years now. Used it regularly for commuting and some weekend rides, covered close to 50 or so thousand miles, and always kept it serviced properly. Didn’t have any major issues, just a few things that were a bit worn over time.

Then, a few years ago, it got stolen. A few weeks later, it turned up — apparently used in some serious situations, which is a bit worrying, but it came back to me. I was hoping to get it back on the road, but life changed and I now have a better bike for my occasional rides. So I’m letting it go.

It’s not road-ready, to be honest — there’s some damage from the theft. But it’s a solid machine with a full stainless exhaust I fitted myself, and the brake discs were brand new just before I stopped using it. There’s a fair bit of parts value here, especially for someone who already owns a VFR.

I don’t expect anyone to ride it — it’ll need a trailer or van to get it moved. If you're into restoring classic bikes or looking for spare parts, it might be useful. Just don’t expect it to run perfectly out of the box. It’s not for daily use, but it’s not trash either.
