2018 Peugeot 3008 1.2 PureTech Allure SUV

Description

This 2018 Peugeot 3008 Allure is a solid, practical SUV with a clean interior and plenty of tech for everyday use. It’s got a manual gearbox, which I like for the feeling of control — not too flashy, just what you’d expect from a well-built family car.

Inside, the dashboard is finished in Brumeo fabric, and there’s a nice touch of satin chrome trim. The seats are comfy, and I’ve got the 1-3 and 2-3 folding rear seats — super handy for loading things or making space when needed. The boot is also easy to access, and there’s a good amount of storage in the door panels and cupholders.

Tech side: 6-speaker radio, DAB, Bluetooth, voice recognition for phone and navigation, and a 3D connected navigation system. There’s also a lane departure warning, parking sensors, and a trip computer. The rear has a 180-degree reversing camera with front sensors — not perfect, but good enough for tight spaces.

Exterior looks sharp with 18-inch Detroit diamond-cut alloy wheels, dark tinted side and tailgate windows, and body-coloured door mirrors. The headlights have LED day running lights and a nice claw effect at the back. All the lights are properly set up — fog lamps, rear lights, even a heated rear windscreen with antenna.

I’ve kept the car in good shape, and it’s been well maintained. It’s not a flashy or sporty model, but it’s reliable, practical, and has loads of features that actually come in handy.

I live in Drighlington, Leeds, so it’s easy to get to — no long drives to meet up. The car’s been through a few years of normal use, and I’m happy with how it’s held up.

It’s a bit of a high-value car at £9,736.20, but I’ve kept it in good order and it’s been mostly driven on the road, not on the track.
