Description

I’ve had this pram for years, passed down from my grandma—probably from the 50s or 60s. It’s a classic coach-built style, and it’s still got all the original bits: the blue fabric hood, the matching cover, and that little emblem on the side that’s still intact. The chassis is a traditional spring one, which means it rides smoothly, even if it’s not brand new.

The wheels are large spoked ones with rubber tyres—still sturdy, though there’s some rust on the frame and wheels, and the fabric has a bit of fade. It’s not restored, so it’s got all the character of age. The metal frame is solid, and the whole thing has that mid-century charm.

It’s sitting in my garden in llanymynech, Shropshire, and I’ve been thinking about whether to keep it or maybe get it back to life with a bit of TLC. I’d love to hear what you think—would be happy to take offers, especially if you’re into vintage prams or restoration. It’s not just a piece of furniture; it’s a piece of history, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever get around to fixing it myself.
