French and Spanish Tutor for GCSE, A-Level, and Adult Learners
Description
Hi, I'm Eddie. I’ve been tutoring French and Spanish one-on-one for students at GCSE, A-Level, and adult levels, and I’m happy to help anyone who’s trying to get better with either language.I studied History and French at the University of Liverpool, took Spanish classes there too, and I’ve lived in France and Mexico — so I’ve got a solid grasp of both languages at a fairly advanced level. I’ve taught students through school and university, and I’ve helped peers and family understand tricky bits of grammar and vocabulary that often confuse people.
I know how the GCSE and A-Level syllabuses work — especially the differences between foundation and higher levels — and I’m familiar with what students need to hit their exam goals. For adults, we can start from scratch or dive into specific topics you’re interested in. I try to make lessons feel real, not just academic — so you get to practice speaking, listening, and actually using the language.
I believe every learner has their own pace, and I don’t rush. If something’s not clicking at first, I’ll keep going until it makes sense. For school students, I can help with schoolwork — pronunciation, grammar, vocab — and give solid exam prep, especially around how to answer questions in the exam.
I prefer online lessons, but if you're local to new-rossington, Doncaster, I can also do in-person sessions depending on distance. I’ve got a DBS check, and lessons are 50 minutes long. I charge £20 for GCSE/A-Level and £25 for adults — though I’m happy to adjust the length or timing if it works better for you.
If you’re looking for someone who’s patient, clear, and actually enjoys languages, feel free to message me — I’d love to chat!
