So I’ve got this 2021 BMW X2 — it’s got that Strom Bay Metallic paint, looks sharp, and I’ve actually driven it quite a bit since I bought it. It’s a petrol-electric hybrid with the 1.5-litre engine and 10kWh battery, so it’s got a bit of range and runs smoothly. I’ve kept it well maintained and it’s still got all the nice bits: 19-inch M light double-spoke alloy wheels, heated seats, electric windows, parking sensors, and a full load of tech — Apple CarPlay, DAB radio, Bluetooth, satellite nav, and even BMW ConnectedDrive with things like emergency call and tyre sealing.

The interior’s got Dakota black leather trim, a central armrest, cup holders, folding rear seats (with two tilt positions), and even a 12V socket in the console. The seats are comfy, the climate control’s automatic with two zones, and there’s heated windscreen wipers too. It’s got a lot of safety features — including a Thatcham Category 1 alarm with immobiliser, crash sensors, electronic differential lock, and airbags.

I’ve used it for a few short trips around the area — from Abergavenny to nearby towns — and it’s been reliable. I’ve got a lot of the original features still working, like the automatic tailgate, electric bootlid, and even a child seat ISOFIX mount. The rear seats fold down easily, which is handy if you’re doing a road trip or just want more space.

It’s not a daily driver, more of a practical weekend car with a bit of style. I’ve kept it in good shape, and it’s actually one of the few X2s I’ve seen that still feels fresh and hasn’t lost its charm.

I’m selling it because I’m moving to a new place — still in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire — and I’m looking to lighten the load. I’ve had it for about three years now and it’s been solid. The price is £17,685 — fair, I think, given the specs and condition.
