I’ve been keeping this piano in my home for a few years now, and honestly, it’s one of the best pieces of furniture I’ve ever owned. It’s an Ascot GP-148 baby grand, black polyester case, brand new from the Pearl River factory – the same place that makes a lot of pianos these days.

It’s got 88 keys, three pedals, and a lovely light action with a warm, mellow tone. The self-closing mechanism works smoothly, and it’s been freshly tuned, regulated, and checked by a technician. It’s perfect for students from Grade 1 to 8, and even if you’re not a player, it’s a nice piece to have in the room.

The size is compact – only 4’10” long – so it fits really well in smaller spaces. Width is 4’11”, so it doesn’t take up too much room. I’ve had it set up and tuned several times, and it’s been a joy to play.

I’m now selling it because I’ve moved to Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside, and I’m looking to downsize. The price is £5,850, and it includes:
