So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now, and honestly, it’s just been sitting in my garage in broughton-in-furness, Westmorland and Furness, mostly because I’ve been doing a lot of countryside driving and it’s been perfect for that.

It’s a 2024 ZR-V hybrid estate — not flashy, but packed with features you actually use. The 9-inch touchscreen is great, especially with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, and it even shows live traffic so you don’t end up stuck in a 30-minute delay on the A66. I’ve used the lane keep assist and forward collision warning loads of times — especially when driving in foggy weather or on winding roads.

Inside, it’s got that smooth leather steering wheel, heated front seats, and dual zone climate control. The seats fold flat, so I can fit a big load in the back when I’m doing weekend trips. The fabric upholstery is nice, not too worn, and the armrests and sun visors are still in good shape.

The tech is solid — adaptive cruise, traffic jam assist, and even a low-speed following feature that helps when you’re driving behind a slow-moving vehicle. I’ve used the idle stop function quite a bit, especially when I’m just cruising around the village or waiting at a stop.

It’s a hybrid, so it’s not exactly a gas guzzler — I’ve got a few hundred miles on it, mostly on gravel roads and back roads. The battery’s been fine, and it doesn’t feel like it’s struggling. The rear view camera and parking sensors are a real help when I’m maneuvering in tight spots.

I’ve been using it for daily commutes and weekends out, and it’s been reliable. The only thing I’d say is it’s not the most stylish car, but it’s comfortable, quiet, and actually kind of practical for a family or a solo driver who likes to get out into the hills.

I’m not selling it because I need the cash — I just don’t need it anymore, and I’ve been looking for someone who might actually use it. If you’re into practical, quiet, reliable cars with decent tech, this one’s been a real good companion.
