I’ve had this Honda Civic since 2015 and it’s been a solid daily driver through all sorts of weather and roads — from the quiet lanes around pwllheli to longer trips up the coast. It’s not flashy, but it’s got loads of features you’d actually notice, like the leather shift knob, heated front seats, and that panoramic glass roof.

The 1.6 diesel engine runs smooth, and with the manual gearbox, it’s still fun to drive — especially when you’re not rushing. I’ve kept it well maintained, so it’s reliable and still feels fresh. The alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, and fog lights are all there, and the parking sensors and rear camera make parking a breeze.

Inside, it’s got everything — Bluetooth, a full audio system with a subwoofer, USB and aux ports, and even a glove box light and vanity mirror. The seats are adjustable, and there’s a magic flexibility system that lets you squeeze more space when needed.

I’ve also kept the safety features up to date — airbags, ABS, brake assist, electronic stability control, and even side curtain airbags. There’s a deflation warning, and the seats have whiplash-reducing headrests.

I’ve only driven it myself, so it’s not been stressed out. The price is £3,825, but I’m not selling it to get rid of it — just because I’ve moved to pwllheli and now need something a bit smaller and more practical.
