Got this old book and bird rings from my dad’s collection – the Coloured Canary by A.K. Gill is a first edition, still in good shape with a bit of fading but the pages are clean and it’s a real keeper. The bird rings are original too, used for years on my dad’s canaries. I’ve kept it in a box for ages, not touched much since. It’s a bit of a nostalgia piece now, and I’m just passing it on.
