2020 BMW M8 4.4i V8 Competition Convertible
Description
So, I’ve been driving this 2020 BMW M8 4.4i V8 Competition Convertible for a few years now, and honestly, it’s one of those cars that just feels alive when you’re behind the wheel. The 625 PS engine doesn’t just roar — it sings, and it’s a real thrill to get out of the parking spot and feel the power settle into the road. It’s in Donington Grey, which I think is one of the prettiest colours for a performance car — not too flashy, not too dull, just a solid, sharp look. The 20-inch M Light Star-Spoke alloy wheels look sharp, and the adaptive suspension means it handles everything from winding country roads to motorway runs without any fuss. I’ve got the M Sport exhaust too, which adds a bit of character when you’re cruising or hitting the twisty bits.
Inside, it’s all about luxury and practicality. Full Merino leather seats with carbon fibre trim give it a premium feel, and the Harman Kardon sound system? Yeah, it’s loud, clear, and actually good at filling the cabin with music — especially when I’m doing long drives. The Live Cockpit Professional setup is slick, and the laser lights and adaptive headlights are a real plus at night.
I’ve got keyless start, comfort access, and a full suite of driver aids — including Driving Assistant Professional — which helps with things like lane keeping and speed adjustments. The soft-top operates automatically, and the tailgate just opens with a push, no fiddling. Park Distance Control and parking assistant help when I’m parking in tight spots, which I do a lot.
I’ve kept it well-maintained, and it’s been through a full mechanical and cosmetic check. The car’s been used mostly for weekend drives and short trips, so it’s still in great shape. I’ve also got a 12V power socket in the front — handy for charging phones or small gadgets.
It’s based in south-ayrshire, Scotland, so if you’re in the area or passing through, I’m happy to meet up or show it over. No hard feelings if you want to take a look — I’m just happy to share it with someone who actually gets how much fun this car can be.
Price is £50,850 — not a lot to say about that, just a number I’ve been comfortable with. But if you’re really interested, I’m open to talking. Just give me a shout.
