Large Vintage Glass Display Cabinet

Description

I’ve been keeping this cabinet in my home for years — it’s a real piece of the 60s/70s, designed by Davies, originally from Bowood House in London. It’s a solid, sturdy thing, with adjustable shelves and those classic ball and claw feet that keep it stable. The glass is a bit chipped in places, mostly on the shelves, but honestly, you don’t really notice it when the doors are closed and you’ve got stuff inside. There are a few scuffs and some ring marks under the wooden shelves — I can only guess it happened when someone turned them over back in the day. The locks don’t have keys, so it’s just a plain old cabinet with no hidden tricks.

It’s massive — 151cm tall, 142cm wide, 41cm deep — so it’s not just for small spaces. The side glass cabinets are 36cm wide and 41cm deep, and the central one is 58cm wide by 35cm deep. I’ve kept it clean and tidy, and it’s still standing strong. It’s definitely not perfect — it’s a real antique, not a showroom piece — but it’s a great spot for displaying things you care about, like photos, collectibles, or family mementos.

Shipping is £65 to England via courier — ground floor, kerbside, one man delivery, 1–2 weeks or sooner. International shipping? You’ll probably have to pay import duties, so I’d suggest checking with your local customs.
