So I’ve had this 2019 C-Class for about two years now — it’s been a solid daily driver, mostly on the roads around Lingfield, Tandridge. It’s not flashy, but it’s got all the bits you’d expect from a proper Mercedes: AMG-style aero details, those 18-inch alloy wheels with the twin-spoke design, and the Tremolite grey paint looks pretty sharp in the sun.

The suspension’s lowered by 15mm, which gives it a bit more sporty feel without being too harsh. I’ve used the adaptive driving modes a lot — Comfort, ECO, Sport, Sport Plus — and it really changes how the car handles depending on what I’m doing. The new LED headlights with daytime running lights are a bit of a game-changer for night driving, and the reversing camera helps with parking, especially when I’m trying to squeeze into tight spots.

Safety features are pretty top-notch — collision prevention assist, adaptive brake assist, parking sensors, and even that active bonnet that lifts when it detects a potential impact. There’s a full suite of airbags too, from front seats to side and knee protection. I’ve never had to use the emergency brake, but it’s there if needed.

Inside, the 10.25-inch screen is crisp, and the audio system handles both CD and DAB well. The seats are comfortable, especially with the heated fronts and electric height adjustment. I’ve also got the remote boot release and a first aid kit tucked away — handy little things.

It’s got a lot of tech, like the Mercedes Me Connect app, parking assist, and even pre-wiring for a navigation system (though I haven’t installed it yet). The car’s been well-maintained, and I’ve kept it clean and in good shape.
