Sheelin Boat
Description
Got this 19ft Sheelin Irish Loch boat sitting in my garage in Sandringham, King’s Lynn and West Norfolk — it’s been sitting patiently for years, mostly just enjoying the peace of the water. It’s a wide-beamed (5ft 4in) design, built for stability and slow drifts, which is exactly what you want when you’re fishing in the big Irish loughs. The boat’s been repainted properly and is in solid shape, ready to go in the water whenever you’re ready. It’s got room for 3 or 4 anglers, which is more than enough for a quiet day on the lake.It comes with the original galvanized trailer — I had the bearings and wheels replaced last year, so it rolls well. There’s a set of 9ft oars and a Rutland seat too. The cover got a bit banged up in a winter gale, but I’ve got the damage notes and can either fix it or use it as a template to make a new one.
I’ve also got a 4hp four-stroke Yamaha outboard — if you’re interested, I can sell it with the boat for an extra £350. No pressure, just thought I’d share it in case anyone’s looking for something reliable and solid. I’m not putting a price in the title because it’s not the point — it’s just a boat I’ve loved for years. If you’ve got any questions, I’m happy to chat. £2750 Ono.
