I’ve had this 2015 BMW X1 for a few years now and honestly, it’s one of the best little SUVs I’ve ever driven. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid—quiet, reliable, and handles everything from city drives to country roads without fuss.

It’s a diesel, so it’s not the most fuel-efficient car on the market, but it’s got a real knack for getting miles per gallon—up to 58 mpg, which is great for someone who doesn’t want to spend a fortune on petrol. The engine’s smooth, the 4WD helps on wet or uneven surfaces, and it gets through the year without much drama.

I bought it second-hand, and it’s only had two owners before me. The mileage’s low for its age, and it’s been properly looked after. Last service was in March 2025, and it’s got a clean MOT until December 2026. I’ve had it tested, and it’s in great shape. No hidden costs, no admin fees, just straightforward ownership. I’m not selling it to make a quick profit—I’m just getting rid of it because I’ve found something better for my needs.
