Description

So, I’ve been keeping this 1970 BSA Bantam D175 in my shed for a few years now, mostly just enjoying it and keeping it running. It’s black, no rust on the wheels or spokes—though they’re a bit grey, looks like it’s got a ceramic coating. The gearbox was serviced recently and the engine had a full overhaul about three years ago. Matching engine and frame numbers, so it’s genuine. It’s registered in my name as a historic vehicle, which means no tax or MOT, so it’s not on the road much.

It runs well, just a bit tricky to start sometimes. I tried adjusting the carburetor a while back, but now it’s struggling again—probably needs proper tuning. The patina’s great, it’s got that classic old-school look. I’m in mindrum, Carham now, so if you’re local or passing through, happy to chat. I’m thinking £1,620, but I’m open to sensible offers. Just a real simple, honest bit of kit I’ve got to part with. Steve.
