EC Gomme Antique Mirror

This old EC Gomme mirror is one of those pieces you just don’t see much anymore — a big, ornate oval hanging mirror with a gilt frame and carved cherubs holding a crown at the top. It’s from around 1970, so it’s not super rare, but it’s still got that classic vintage charm. It’s 28 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Found tucked away in the storage room after I moved into my new house in hampton, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The frame has a few spots where paint has flaked off, mostly on the edges — nothing major, and it’s easy enough to fix with a bit of touch-up. I’ve been thinking about keeping it as a feature piece, so I’m just letting it go for now. It’s worth about £72, but I’m not pushing that — it’s just something I’ve had in storage for a while and figured it’s time to share.
