Vitus Sommet VR
Description
I’ve had this Vitus Sommet VR since March and it’s been mostly sitting in the shed, not ridden much — just a bit of storage, not much use. I’m parting ways because I’ve been doing a bit of trail riding in the Highlands lately and thought it might be better in someone else’s hands. It’s a men’s large, aluminium frame with a black and green finish. The forks are Manitou Mattoc Expert 160mm, and the shock is Rockshox Monarch Plus RC - both air-adjustable. Wheels are 27.5", front WTB Sti23 with Novatec hub, rear Hope with Novatec hub too. Tires are Schwalbe Hans Damph, near new. Gearset is SRAM GX 1x11, single-speed crank with chain guide, and brakes are Shimano Deore XT 180mm hydraulic discs. Riser bars and dropper post are both Nukeproof.
I did a full service last month — new pedals, grips, cables, and brake pads. Only small thing: the front brake needs a bit of oil, just a quick fix.
It’s in nethy-bridge, Highland, so if you're local, I can pop it over — no hassle. Price is £630, but I’m not going to say that in the title. Just thought I’d share it with someone who might actually use it.
