I’ve had this KONA for just over five years now, and it’s been a solid daily driver. It’s a bit of a gem actually – clean inside, no major issues, and I’ve only ever done light use. The touchscreen is a bit of a small screen, but it’s still functional and works well with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Got cruise control with speed limiter, which I use when I’m on the motorway, and the lane keep assist helps a lot when driving long stretches.

The interior is decent – cloth seats, leather steering wheel, good sound system with DAB and MP3, and all the little extras like USB, aux, and the rear camera parking system. I’ve never had to use the fancy features much, but they’re all there if you need them. The windows are electric, both front and rear, and the mirrors are heated and adjustable. There’s a good bit of storage too – parcel shelf, hooks, under-tray, and even a centre console with vents.

It’s got all the safety stuff you’d expect – ABS, EBD, traction control, VSC, airbags, side airbags, and the seatbelt pretensioners. I’ve never had any major warnings or faults, and it’s been reliable for everything from town drives to weekend trips. The alloy wheels are 17-inch, and the body’s painted to match, with all the trim and details properly done.

I bought it from Cars2 back in 2018 – they’re based in West and South Yorkshire, and I’ve had a great experience with them over the years. They’re a solid lot, with a real focus on service and helping customers through the process. I’m now based in Ravenglass, Cumberland, so it’s just a matter of getting it to a good spot for someone who’s looking for a practical, well-maintained small SUV with good tech and safety.
