Just sold my old scrap metal pile to a local guy in Rippin, North Yorkshire. It was a mix of copper tubes, bright wire, armoured cables, brass bits, some lead, and a bit of steel and stainless steel. I’d never thought about selling it before, but after a bit of digging through the shed, I found it all neatly stacked.

He came over the same day, gave me instant payment, and even said he’s fully licensed — no fuss, no hassle. He’s got a real knack for picking up the right stuff, and honestly, he paid a fair bit for it.

I’ve been using this collection for years, mostly just to keep things tidy, so it’s a nice little windfall. If you’ve got old copper, cables, or any scrap metal lying around, he might be worth a call — especially if you’re in Rippin or nearby.
