2017 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 BiTDI BlueMotion Tech SEL SUV
Description
So, I’ve had this 2017 Tiguan for a few years now — white with 19-inch alloys, and it’s been a solid daily driver. The interior’s cloth, not flashy, but it’s clean and practical. I’ve kept it well looked after, and it’s got a full service history, which gives me a bit of peace of mind. It’s got a bunch of smart bits: sat-nav, panoramic roof, rear camera, parking sensors, and the Car-Net app so I can control music and phone calls from the wheel. I like the heated front seats — come winter, that’s a real comfort boost. The climate control’s dual-zone, so I can keep the cabin comfy whether I’m going on a drive or just chilling at home.
The steering wheel has all the buttons — audio, calls, settings — and the electric windows make getting in and out easy. I’ve got automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, so it’s good in all sorts of weather. The cabin feels open and airy thanks to the roof, and the seats are quite comfy, especially with the 14-way driver’s seat and massage.
I’ve also got a few little extras — like the 12V outlet in the back, cup holders, body-coloured bumpers, and a first-aid kit tucked away. There’s even a little drowsiness detection and city emergency braking, which I didn’t expect to need, but it’s nice to have.
It’s a diesel, Euro 6, 4Motion, and it’s been running smoothly with no major issues. I’ve done a fair bit of driving, but it’s still in great shape.
I’m selling it because I’m moving to Cramlington, Northumberland, and I’m not going to be using it much anymore. It’s a solid, reliable car — not flashy, but very capable.
The price is £17,046 — I know it’s a bit high for a used SUV, but I’ve kept it well and it’s been a great companion.
If you’re looking at something with a bit of tech, good safety features, and a solid service history, this one might be worth a look. I’m happy to chat if you’re interested.
No finance advice here — I just wanted to share it with someone who might actually use it.
