So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2019 Nissan Leaf Tekna, automatic, 5-door hatchback, and it’s fully electric. I bought it when EVs were still new, and I’ve stuck with it ever since. It’s been a real smooth ride — quiet, no emissions, and just feels solid on the road.

The Tekna trim adds a bit of comfort and tech, which I really appreciate. It has LED auto headlights, cruise control, parking sensors all round, heated seats, heated steering wheel, and that handy around-view monitor with moving object detection. The boot’s decent too — plenty of space for everyday stuff, even if you’re going on weekend trips.

I’ve had it through a full AA inspection — they checked it properly, point by point, and it passed with flying colours. There’s also a service history to back it up. I’ve not driven it hard, and it’s been mostly used for daily commutes and local trips.

I’ve kept it well maintained, and I’ve never had any major issues. It’s not brand-new, but it’s been reliable and runs well. That said, I do know that battery life can degrade over time — especially with regular use — so if you're thinking about long-term ownership, that’s something to keep in mind.

I’ve also got a quick charger in the house, so it’s not a hassle to keep it charged. The navigation system is solid — Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus DAB, so it’s easy to use.
