Description

Got this car from a long-time friend who’s now moving to a different part of the country. It’s a 2018 Vauxhall Grandland X, 1.2T petrol, manual — solid, reliable, and actually quite practical for the sort of things I do.

It’s not flashy, but it’s got loads of useful bits: cruise control with speed limiter, lane departure warning, digital clock, water temp gauge, and a full trip computer. The lights are pretty smart — audible warnings, daytime running lights, LED tail lights, and all the usual safety stuff like fog lights, hazard lights, and reversing lights.

Inside, it’s got a decent setup — six speakers, steering wheel audio controls, heated rear window, and heated mirrors. The seats are fully adjustable, with driver and passenger seats both having a good range. I’ve used the heated seats a few times in the winter, and it’s actually a real help.

There’s a lot of storage — front door pockets, centre console, armrests, and even a covered storage box in the middle. I’ve kept it clean, so it’s not just a spare car — it’s actually been driven regularly and maintained properly.

The interior is mostly black with chrome accents, and the windows are tinted. There’s a 12V socket in the front and one in the boot, plus a 220V outlet behind the front seats — useful if you’re working on something at home.

It’s been kept well, with all the safety features working, and I’ve had it serviced regularly. The ABS, aircon, and climate control are all fine. I’ve only used it for local trips and occasional weekend drives — so it’s still in great shape.

I’m moving to Fairbourne, Gwynedd, and it’s just sitting in the garage now. It’s a bit of a long-term keeper, but if you’re looking for something that’s reliable and not overpriced, it’s a good solid option.
