Description

I’m parting ways with my 2023 Skoda Octavia SE – it’s been my main car for years and I’ve only had it since new. It’s a clean, well-maintained car with just one owner, and I’ve never driven it hard, so it’s still in great shape.

It’s a 1.5-litre petrol engine, Euro 6 compliant, and gets up to 52mpg – not bad for a hatchback. The interior has dual-zone climate control, so I can keep the cabin comfortable whether I’m driving solo or with kids. Bluetooth works smoothly, and the LED headlights with light and rain sensors are a real help, especially in the mornings or when it’s drizzling.

I’ve only ever used it for regular commuting and family trips, so it’s still got that fresh, unspoiled feel. The boot’s generous, so it’s easy to carry groceries or stroller stuff. There’s also rear parking sensors and manoeuvre assist – a big plus when parking in narrow streets near Henley-on-Thames.

It’s a solid, reliable car with good fuel economy and low CO2, which I’m glad about given how much I drive. I’ve been meaning to sell it for a while now, and I’m happy to pass it on to someone who’ll appreciate how practical and well-built it is.
