Got this little Giant Talon 2 mountainbike sitting in my garage in Chryston, North Lanarkshire, and thought I’d part with it. It’s the small size, so it fits both men and women just fine.Frame’s 7005 alloy, suspension fork’s a Suntour XCM, hydraulic disk brakes, Deore groupset, quick release wheels and seat — all the basics. Comes with a light set, mudguards, new Shimano cranks, bottle cages, and a pump holder.
It’s had its fair share of scratches and dents over the years, but I’ve cleaned it, lubed it, and done a proper service myself — it runs great. It’s been ridden regularly, not just stored.
Priced at £99 — a bit under what I originally thought, but honestly, it’s still a solid little bike for trail riding or weekend getaways. If you’re into MTBs and want something reliable without the big price tag, this might be your kind of ride.
