2009 Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec Hatchback
Description
This 2009 Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec hatchback is a solid, reliable car I’ve had for a few years now — mostly for commuting and weekend drives around pontyclun, Rhondda Cynon Taf. It’s a manual with a 1.8L engine, 123 bhp, and runs on petrol. The fuel economy’s about 169 g/km, which isn’t amazing but it’s manageable. It’s got a bit of a well-used look, but the interior’s still clean and the seats are comfortable. I’ve kept it maintained, so things like the brakes, steering, and suspension are still in decent shape. There’s a decent amount of features — airbags front and side, anti-lock brakes, alloy wheels (16-inch), central locking, electric windows, CD player, radio, and a decent audio system. The steering column is adjustable too, which is a small but handy thing.
I’ve also got the ISOFIX points for kids’ seats and a spare wheel (space saver) — useful if you’re ever on the road with a family or just need a backup. The dashboard is a bit dated, but the car drives smoothly and handles well.
I’ve driven it mostly on local roads, so it’s not a long-distance car, but it’s been reliable for daily use. I’m not selling it for a big haul — just looking to part with it after a few years of regular use.
If you're in the area and looking for a practical, no-frills hatchback with a decent base, this might be something you’d actually enjoy using. Price is £2,565 — it’s not a lot, but it’s fair given the age and use.
I’m happy to show it around if you’re interested. Just give me a shout.
