So I’ve had this 2018 Ford Ecosport for a few years now – it’s been a solid daily driver, and I’m finally ready to part with it. It’s a bit of a chunky little hatch, not flashy but very practical. The 1.0T EcoBoost engine runs smoothly, and the manual gearbox gives you full control – which I really like.

It’s got all the basics: airbags (including curtain, driver, front passenger, and knee), ABS with ESC, and a full safety suite. The Ford SYNC 2.5 with an 8-inch screen is still useful – I use it for navigation and music. The front seats have a decent amount of adjustability, and there’s even a map pocket on each one.

I’ve kept it well-maintained, so the paint’s still good, and the interior hasn’t worn out much. The 16-inch alloy wheels are 5-spoke, magnetic, and easy to turn. The boot has a load floor, and the floor mats are still in place. There’s a cool bin in the glovebox, and the seatbacks have good headrests.

I’ve also kept the original features: chrome headlight bezels, electrically operated and heated door mirrors, leather handbrake and gear knob, and even a driver’s sun visor with a vanity mirror. The climate control is manual, which is fine – I don’t need the auto stuff.

Price is £8,235 – it’s not cheap, but it’s a reliable little car with good value. I’m not selling it for a quick profit, more like moving on and finding something else that suits my lifestyle.
