2018 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi ST-Line 5-door Manual Hatchback Diesel
Description
So, I’ve got this 2018 Ford Mondeo ST-Line – it’s been in my driveway in Haslingden, Borough of Rossendale for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been a solid daily driver. I’m not selling it because I need to, just because I’ve finally found something else I’d rather be driving. It’s got that classic ST-Line look – bright front scuff plates, chrome trim, and the red stitching on the steering wheel and seats. The interior is clean and well-maintained, with premium velour floor mats, leather-like seats, and a bit of ambient lighting that’s actually pretty nice at night. The 8-speaker DAB navigation system works fine, and I’ve used the voice control a few times – hands-free calls and music are a real plus.
I’ve got all the smart bits: parking sensors, front and rear sensors, trip computer, climate control, ESP with traction control, and even a quick-clear heated windscreen. The seats are comfortable, the steering wheel’s adjustable, and there’s even a height-adjustable passenger seat with lumbar support. Rear seats fold down easily and there’s Isofix for little ones if you ever need it.
It’s a diesel with a 2.0 TDCi engine, 5 doors, manual transmission – nothing flashy, but it’s reliable and handles well. All the safety stuff is there: ABS, EBA, airbags, driver’s knee bag, parking brake, and all that. The only thing I’m not thrilled about is the fuel capless system – it’s fine, but I’ve had a few issues with it freezing up in winter.
It’s not a show car, and it’s not been driven hard – just regular use. I’ve done a lot of maintenance, kept it clean, and it’s been mostly in good shape. The price is £10,080, which is a bit steep for what it is, but I’m not trying to sell it fast.
If you're looking for a practical, reliable diesel with a bit of style and good tech, and you’re based around Haslingden or nearby, this might be something you’d actually enjoy. I’m happy to chat or show it if you’re interested. No pressure, just a car that’s been well looked after.
