2018 Fender Custom Shop 51 Nocaster NOS Honey Blonde
Description
So I’ve been keeping this guitar for a few years now — it’s a 2018 Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster, honey blonde, and honestly, it’s one of those instruments that just feels right when you pick it up. It’s lightweight at 6lb 8oz, and the hand-wound '51 Nocaster pickups give that classic Tele tone — crisp, clean, and punchy, not too much saturation. It’s not brand new, so there’s a bit of light wear from playing — nothing glaring, just the kind of small marks you’d expect from a guitar that’s been played and enjoyed. No dents or damage, just the gentle signs of someone who actually uses it.
The case is original, all the accessories are still in the box, and it’s been professionally set up with new strings. The neck is maple, 5/4 quarter-sawn, with a nice 'U' shape and a 9.5" radius — the kind of feel that’s comfortable for long sessions. The frets are 21, and the nut’s bone, 1.650" wide.
I’ve only played it a bit, and I’ve used it mostly for practice and a few small gigs — it’s not a show-stopping stage guitar, but it’s solid for what it does.
It’s sitting at my place on Roy-bridge, Bunroy Road, and I’m happy to show it if you’re around. Part-exchanges are always on the table — I’m actually pretty open to swapping if you’ve got something similar.
I’m not selling it for a huge sum — it’s £2,335.50 — but I know it’s not cheap, and I’ve only kept it because I’ve genuinely liked how it plays.
Photos are a bit off in the lighting, so if you’re looking at them, just know the actual finish might look a little different than what you see.
If you’re in the UK, shipping’s no problem — I’ve got full insurance for domestic and international. Just be aware that international buyers will need to check their own customs rules, as guitar imports can come with duties.
No fluff, just a real guitar I’ve used, and I’m happy to chat about it if you’re interested.
