This PEUGEOT Athena road bike is one of those rare finds — original, untouched, and still runs like it’s been built for you. It’s got the full Shimano 600 groupset, Reynolds 653 frame (which is top-tier stuff), and all the original parts including the Gipiemme seat post, Weinmann rims, and look paddles. I’ve only ridden it a handful of times, and it’s been professionally serviced — every nut and bolt cleaned and lubed. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid. The 14-speed indexing is smooth, and the bike feels stable and responsive.

It’s built for people between 5’7” and 6’1”, though it’s actually a bit more comfortable for someone closer to 5’2” to 5’7”. Perfect for daily commutes or just getting around without much fuss. Super low maintenance — just a bit of cleaning and a few basic checks, and it’s good to go.

I’ve been keeping this bike for years, and it’s honestly one of the last original ones still out there with all the factory bits. The Shimano 600 groupset alone is worth over £400, and it’s all original.
