This 2014 Renault Captur’s been a solid workhorse for me over the years – I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s been great for both daily commutes and weekend trips around the coast. It’s a silver hatchback with a 0.9 TCe petrol engine, manual gearbox, and Euro 5 compliance – so no ULEZ issues, which is a big plus.

Mileage is around 70,000, and it’s been well looked after. The Dynamique S trim comes with a MediaNav touchscreen, sat nav, Bluetooth, USB/AUX, cruise control, eco mode, climate control, keyless entry, and alloy wheels. The rear privacy glass and contrasting roof colour give it a nice, polished look. All the electric windows work smoothly too, and it’s got a good interior with plenty of room for people and gear.

I bought it when it was new, and it’s still one of the most practical little cars I’ve owned – fuel-efficient, easy to drive, and not a huge hassle to maintain. It runs cheaply and handles well, whether you’re in Boncath, Pembrokeshire or just driving around the country.

I’m selling it because I’ve moved on to a different kind of vehicle, but I’m happy to let it go with a clean, safe, and fully sanitised view.
