Toyota 7700 Sewing Machine
Description
So, I’ve got this old Toyota 7700 sewing machine I’ve been keeping around for years, and now that we’ve got a newer one, it’s time to part with it. It’s a solid, heavy-duty machine with a metal body — one of those classics that people used to trust for serious stitching. I actually gave it a quick go last week just to check it was still working, and it does stitch, though the patterns are a bit off — probably just needs a bit of tuning up.It comes with all the basics: tools, feet, bobbins, and 30 extra stitch cams — plenty of options if you're into different stitch types. The machine itself is in pretty good shape for its age, though I’d say a little service would help it run smoother. The instruction book’s gone missing — I’ve been looking for it, but it’s not with it now. That said, you can find it online if you want to download it.
I’ve kept it in my shed in Kilkeel, County Down, and I’m just passing it on because we’ve moved on to something newer. It’s not fancy, but it’s a solid piece of kit that’s been around the block. If you’re into vintage machines or just need something reliable for occasional use, it might be worth a look. I’ll keep it in the shed for a while if you’re interested — no rush, just happy to chat.
