So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now, and honestly, it’s one of those cars that just works really well. I bought it new back in 2016, and it’s been properly looked after since — full service records at 1863mls, 7028mls, 12633mls, - you name it, all the major services have been done.

It’s a 1.0T EcoBoost with 100ps, manual gearbox, Euro 6 compliant, and it’s been a reliable daily driver. I’ve had it for a while now and it’s never really let me down. Fuel economy’s been around 65.7MPG, which is pretty good for a small hatch. Road tax’s been £20 a year, and I’ve got the full 12-month MOT — it’s still in good shape.

It comes with a few smart features: parking sensors, heated windscreen, DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB and aux, cruise control, and air con. The interior’s clean and tidy — leather trim on the seats, ambient lighting, and even a small loadspace with floor mats. The 16-inch alloy wheels are 10-spoke shadow black, and it’s got all the nice little touches like electric mirrors, power windows, and a load of safety bits (ESP, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring, etc.).

I’ve used it for everything — commuting, weekend trips, even some long drives — and it’s always been easy to drive and maintain. The first aid kit and warning triangle are still in the boot, and I’ve kept it spotless.

I’m moving to Coldstream in the Scottish Borders, so I’m selling it to someone who’s looking for a solid, practical hatchback that doesn’t need a lot of fuss. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, well-maintained, and has a full service history. If you’re in the market for something no-nonsense and actually gets the job done, this one might be for you.
