So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now, mostly because it’s reliable and has all the basics. It’s a 2019 Yaris Icon 6 with the 1.5-litre engine, and it’s got that nice hatchback shape – not too flashy, just solid. I’ve actually only driven it a couple of times a week over the last few years, so it’s still in pretty good shape.

It’s got all the modern bits: DAB radio, Bluetooth, cruise control, and that nice TFT screen with navigation – I use it for my daily commute. The seats are slidable, and the leather gear shift is a nice touch. I’ve got the reverse camera, parking sensors, and even fog lights. The driver’s window auto-raises and lowers, which I’ve found useful when I’m getting in and out of the car.

Inside, there’s soft-touch trim, leather shift knob, and even heated door mirrors. The headrests are active, and there’s a front passenger airbag switch – useful if you’re sharing it with someone. I also have the tyre pressure monitor, road sign assist, and seat belt reminders.

I’m selling it now because I’m moving to a different area and it’s just easier to keep a smaller car. It’s parked at Rogart, Railway Station Road, so it’s right in the middle of things. I’ve had it for a while, and I’ve taken care of it – no major damage, just regular maintenance.

It’s not exactly a luxury car, but it’s comfortable, safe, and has all the features you’d want in a daily driver. I’ve actually never needed to fix anything major – just regular servicing.

It’s worth about £8,729, but that’s not really the point – I just wanted to get it out of the way and into someone else’s hands. If you’re thinking of buying a used car that’s reliable and easy to drive, this one might be worth a look.
