2011 Skoda Fabia 1.4 TSI vRS 5-door DSG hatchback
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this Skoda Fabia VRS for a few years now — it’s not just a car, it’s kind of become a second home. Got it in 2011, and it’s been a solid workhorse with a lot of miles (85,090) but nothing’s been major, just regular servicing and good care. It’s a DSG automatic, so no fiddling with gears — just smooth, responsive shifts. The 1.4 TSI engine gives it a bit of pep without being too thirsty, which is nice for daily drives. I’ve kept it well-maintained, and the full service history is right there if you’re curious.
Some of the things I love about it:
- 17-inch alloy wheels that give it a real sporty look
- Apple CarPlay — keeps me connected without needing a phone mount
- Sunroof, which is a nice touch when the weather’s good
- Front and reverse cameras — parking’s not a nightmare anymore
- Privacy glass, so I can keep things private when I’m on the move
I’ve also had it tuned a bit — not flashy, just enough to keep it feeling sharp and responsive. Air conditioning works great, especially in summer.
It’s not the newest car, but it’s reliable, has a good character, and I’ve actually driven it a lot of miles with no real issues. It’s got a bit of personality — not flashy, but you can feel the drive when you turn the key.
I’m moving to Solihull now, so it’s going to be a bit of a shift, and I’m thinking of selling it to someone who’ll appreciate the balance of practicality and a bit of sportiness.
If you’ve ever wanted a compact hatchback that doesn’t just get you from A to B, but actually feels like it’s having fun doing it — this one might be for you.
Let me know if you’d like to see it or talk about it — I’ll be around to chat. Price’s £3,595.50, but I’ll be honest — it’s not about the money, it’s about finding someone who sees what this car brings to the table.
