2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class 2.1 Diesel AMG Line Premium Plus Hatchback
Description
I’m selling my 2016 Mercedes-Benz A200d AMG Line Premium Plus – it’s been a solid, reliable car for me over the years, and I’m happy to part with it now. It’s got that classic Mercedes refinement, with a clean, sharp look thanks to the Cirrus White paint and contrasting half-leather interior (Artico with red stitching). The AMG Line bits – like the gloss black rear spoiler, front splitter, and those 18-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels – give it a real sporty edge without being flashy. The 2.1-litre diesel engine doesn’t get hot, runs quietly, and gives good range – perfect for daily commutes or weekend trips. It’s got a smooth automatic gearbox, so it’s easy to drive whether you’re in the city or on the road. The interior is packed with features: sat nav, Bluetooth, DAB radio, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors, and even a full suite of safety tech like ESP, ABS, blind-spot monitoring, and a crash sensor that opens doors in an emergency.
It’s been fully serviced, has a clean HPI report, and I’ve got a fresh 12-month MOT and a 3-month RAC warranty (plus 12 months breakdown cover). It’s been driven regularly but never taken too hard – just kept well looked after. The seats are still comfy, the carpets are in good shape, and everything works as it should.
I’ve lived in Strathaven, South Lanarkshire for a few years now, so it’s been my main car for local trips and family outings. I’m not looking to sell it for a big profit – just getting rid of it after a long time of use. I’d be happy to take part exchanges or chat about extending the warranty if anyone’s interested.
It’s not flashy, it’s not cheap, but it’s been dependable, comfortable, and just plain good value over the years. If you’re looking for a practical, well-equipped compact hatch with a bit of style and solid reliability, this one might be right for you.
Let me know if you’d like to see it or chat more – I’ll be honest about what it’s like to drive and how it’s held up.
