2011 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Titanium X Hatchback
Description
I’m selling my 2011 Ford Mondeo Titanium X hatchback – it’s been a real workhorse for me over the years, and I’m finally downsizing. It’s a diesel, 2.0 TDCi, 163ps, Euro 5, and has the Powershift gearbox – not flashy, but smooth and reliable. I’ve kept it well maintained, so it’s still running strong. It’s painted Hypnotic Silver, which I love – looks sharp and modern, especially in the sun. The interior has part leather, and I’ve had the optional Ebony leather and Alcantara trim, which adds a bit of luxury without being too flashy. The cabin’s roomy enough for five, and the boot’s decent for daily trips or weekend getaways.
The engine’s solid – 161 bhp and 251 lb/ft of torque, gets you from 0 to 60 in about 9.5 seconds, and it’s a bit of a joy to drive on the highway. I’ve got a good 50.4 mpg figure, so it’s efficient for a diesel.
I’ve got keyless entry, which is a nice little thing – no fumbling with keys when you’re rushing out the door. And it has adaptive cruise control with forward alert, hill start assist, and CCD – useful for the occasional long stretch of motorway. The X pack gives it a bit of extra comfort, like a better audio system and heated seats (though I haven’t used them much).
It’s been in my garage in Newark, Newark on Trent for a few years now – I’ve kept it clean and safe, and it’s not been on the road much since I moved. I’m not looking to use it again, so I’m just letting it go.
Price is £2,695.50 – not a lot, but it’s a solid car that’s been trusted for years. If you’re looking for a reliable, slightly older but still good-looking diesel hatchback with decent features, this one’s a decent fit. Let me know if you’re interested – happy to chat.
