This old Smiths oak-cased mantel clock is still ticking away nicely, though it’s not quite as smooth as it should be. The pendulum stops after about 20 seconds, so I’m guessing it needs a bit of cleaning or a tune-up. It’s in solid condition overall — just a few light marks here and there, nothing major. The original Smiths key still works, and it winds up perfectly. I’ve had it for years and it’s been a real piece of home charm. Collecting from Dunblane, Stirling.
