I’ve had this tea set for a few years now – it’s a bit of a treasure from the Occupied Japan period, made in New York. It’s a 14-piece set: teapot, milk jug, creamer, sugar bowl with lid, two cups, two saucers, and five plates. The gold edging and floral pattern are still really nice, though it’s not perfect – some minor wear, but nothing major. I’ve kept it in a drawer mostly, so it’s been stored well. The photos are a bit of a record of it as it is, so definitely worth checking out. I’m based in Markyate, Dacorum, and happy to collect it from there – just say the word.
