2012 BMW 1 Series 1.6 ES Hatchback Manual
Description
So, I’ve had this 2012 BMW 1 Series 1.6 ES hatchback for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver for most of that time, and I’m finally ready to part with it.It’s a manual, petrol model with 102bhp, and the 1.6L engine runs smooth — not flashy, but reliable. I’ve had it since new, and it’s been well looked after. It’s a five-door hatchback, jet black with body-coloured mirrors and chrome kidney grille. The interior has move cloth seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and that nice satin silver trim — not too flashy, but feels solid.
I’ve kept it clean and low-mileage for a used car — only 87,200 miles on the clock. It’s had two previous owners, and the V5 is in order. I’ve also got the full service history, a recent 12-month MOT, and it’s been through a full inspection — brakes, suspension, engine, everything. The radio has DAB and USB, and the Bluetooth hands-free is still working great.
I’ve been using it for a few years, mostly city driving, so it’s not a long-distance hauler — but it’s been dependable. The fuel economy’s solid at around 59mpg, which is decent for a small hatchback.
I originally bought it for £3,995, and it’s been well maintained. I’ve got two keys and a full set of accessories — everything you’d need for a daily driver.
I’m not selling it to a dealership — it’s just time to upgrade. I’ve had a few offers, but I’m not rushing. If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat or meet up. I’m based in Camborne, Cornwall — so if you’re local, it’s easy to pop by.
No fancy marketing here — just a solid, practical car that’s been trusted every day. If you’re looking for something reliable and easy to drive, this one’s worth a look.
Let me know if you’d like to see it or talk through it — I’ll be honest about what it’s like to drive and what to expect.
(And yes, the price is £3,595.50 — that’s what it’s worth now, but I don’t need to say it out loud.)
