Description

So, I’ve been driving this 2016 E220d AMG Line for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been one of the most reliable and comfortable cars I’ve ever had. It’s got just under 57k miles, so it’s been used but not abused — still runs smooth, and the diesel engine doesn’t complain.

It’s got that AMG Line styling — sharp lines, the twin-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels in titanium grey, and the front and rear aprons give it that sporty look without being too flashy. I love the LED headlights with daytime running lights — they’re bright and don’t bother the neighbours at night.

Inside, it’s got that nice black leather trim with contrast stitching, and the climate control is automatic and two-zone, so you can keep the front warm and back cool — or vice versa. The seats are heated, which is a real win in winter, and the seats themselves are fully adjustable. The steering wheel is a bit sporty — black nappa leather with paddle shifters, and I’ve actually used the sport mode quite a bit.

It’s got a lot of smart bits: reversing camera, parking sensors, cruise control with speed limiter, and the Garmin navigation. I’ve used the USB audio system quite a bit, and Bluetooth works flawlessly. There’s even a child seat sensor, which is handy if you’ve got kids.

I’ve noticed it gets around 66 mpg — not the highest, but for a diesel, it’s solid. The CO2 is low too, so I feel good about it when I’m driving. The car’s got a decent boot, so it’s not just for city drives — I’ve taken it on family trips and shopping runs without any hassle.

It’s got a lot of safety features — active brake assist, pedestrian detection (it’ll raise the bonnet if it senses someone in front), airbags all around, and even a first aid kit and warning triangle tucked in the boot.

I’ve kept it well-maintained, and it’s never been in a crash. It’s a solid daily driver, and I’m selling it because I’ve moved to Otsershaw, Borough of Runnymede — and I’m just not going to be driving it around the same way anymore.

If you’re someone who values comfort, safety, and a bit of that premium feel — this one’s worth a look. I’m not sure if it’s the best car in its class, but it’s definitely one of the more thoughtful ones I’ve ever driven.

Price is £11,609.10 — it’s not cheap, but it’s been a great investment and I’ve had no major issues with it.

Let me know if you want to chat about it — I’ve actually driven it through a few different terrains and it handles well.
