Hey, I’m moving out of my student flat in Torpoint and looking for someone to take over the tenancy with HelloStudent at Victoria Court. The move-in date is 13th September, but I’m happy to stay a bit longer and pay rent until the end of the month if you’d prefer to move in later — that would save you about £318.

It’s a fairly spacious bedroom on the fourth floor (top floor), with a full-sized bed and a proper en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is actually a wetroom, which is rare and means it’s bigger than the others on the corridor — no extra cost, just a nice surprise. There’s an electric towel rail, a shaving plug, and the shower has great water pressure. The room has underbed storage and plenty of space in the desk and wardrobe too.

The kitchen is big and doubles as a social space — two dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, kettles, and sinks. There are three fridges/freezers and enough room on the sides for things like air fryers or rice cookers. I’ve never had space issues. There’s also a hoover and an ironing board in the room.

Washing and drying is downstairs — two washers and dryers — so it’s easy to get your laundry done. The building has a lift, which is handy for getting up to the top floor.

The HelloStudent office is just a two-minute walk down the road, and there’s someone on site 24/7. The staff have been really helpful and friendly.

I’m taking the metal shelves with me, but I’m happy to leave the smaller ones in the bathroom if you’d like — they don’t fit in my new place.
