Description

So I’ve had this 2020 Mercedes A-Class for a few years now — it’s been a solid daily driver, and I’ve actually kept it mostly well-maintained. It’s black, and the AMG Line trim gives it that sharp, sleek look. The wheels are 18-inch titanium grey with a high sheen finish, and it’s got all the modern bits you’d expect — like lane assist, parking sensors, reverse camera, and a full DAB radio.

I’ve got the 15.6kWh battery too, which means it’s electric-ready, and I’ve actually used it a few times on short trips. The climate control is automatic and two-zone, which is a real plus in winter. The seats are heated, the mirrors fold electrically, and there’s a central armrest with cup holders — handy when you’ve got a quick run to the office or a family lunch.

I’ve also got the AMG styling touches — like the front and rear aprons, side skirts, and those brushed stainless steel sports pedals. The headlights and tail lights are LED, and there’s a lot of ambient lighting to make it feel more premium. There’s even a voice assistant (Hey Mercedes) that lets you control things with your voice.

It’s been through a proper inspection, and I’ve kept it in good shape. I know it’s not the most expensive car out there, but it’s been reliable and comfortable — especially for city driving. The 8G-DCT gearbox is smooth, and the steering feels responsive.

I’m moving to deeside, Aberdeenshire, and it’s just easier to keep it here than keep it in a garage somewhere else. I’m not selling it for a big sum — it’s £17,775 — but I’ve been thinking about selling it because I’m not going to need it as much now.
