Got this old Gruffalo tea tin from Taylors of Harrogate – it’s the red and green one, hinged and in very good shape. The lid fits properly, and it’s got that classic children’s book charm – Julia Donaldson’s Gruffalo, you know, the one with the mouse and all the weird predators in the wood. I’ve kept it for years, mostly just to store little things like tea, biscuits, or random trinkets in the kitchen. It’s not fancy, but it’s a bit of a keepsake. The box it came in is still there, so it’s ready to go in a drawer or on the shelf. It’s from Calstock, St Ann’s Chapel – if you’re local, I might just hand it over for a quick chat.
