2016 Hyundai Tucson 1.7 CRDi Blue Drive SE Nav Estate
Description
Alright, so I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2016 Tucson 1.7 CRDi, Blue Drive, SE navigation version, estate body. Got it from a family-run garage in Dorridge, Dorridge Road, and I’ve been using it mostly for weekend trips and long drives. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid — you can actually feel the quality in the build. The inside is pretty nice — leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, soft-touch trim, and that 8-inch touchscreen with Tom Tom Live and traffic updates. I use the navigation a lot, and the reversing camera works well. There’s also a 12V outlet in the front console and one in the boot — handy if you're on the go.
The wheels are 17-inch alloy, and the seats have a good bit of comfort — front seats have lumbar support, rear ones recline, and they fold down easily. The climate control’s dual zone with ioniser is a nice touch, especially when it’s hot. I’ve got the electric windows, heated front seats, and a full set of airbags — front, side, and curtain. Also has lane departure warning and ESP, which I found useful when driving on winding roads.
I’ve kept it well-maintained, so it runs smoothly. It has ABS, hill-start assist, parking sensors, and even a reversing camera. The lights are LED — front, rear, fog lights, all good. The boot has a net, luggage hooks, and a retractable load cover.
I’ve had it checked with an HPI, and it’s been properly maintained. I’m not selling it to make a quick buck — I’ve just decided to move on and it’s time to pass it on.
If you're interested, I can show you the car in person — I’m based in Dorridge, Dorridge Road. I’ll be there during weekday mornings, 10am to 5pm, or after 4pm on Saturdays.
It’s worth noting that the asking price is £9,621 — that’s not the focus, though. What matters is that it’s a reliable, practical SUV with good tech and solid safety features. If you’re looking for something that actually works, not just looks good, this one’s a solid pick.
No pressure, no sales tactics — just a real person sharing a car they’ve genuinely used.
